The
Soul Review
The Soul Review was formed in 1991 by Dave Barnard. This nine-piece
band has always been acclaimed as one of the most exciting live dance
bands in the South of England.
Their set contains all the classic Rhythm 'n' Blues and Soul material
form the 60’s and 70’s. During the last 5 years, the Soul
Review has concentrated mainly on wedding receptions - they are regarded
as the perfect party live act.
The band has the musical ability to vary their style to suit the occasion.
Their main objective is to fill your dance floor, and audience participation
on stage is encouraged!
They start their set with a personalised medley especially for the bride
and groom.
If you are local to Brighton and Hove, you may have seen Soul Review
headlining the Brighton Millennium festivities at the Old Steine in
1999.
Soul Review’s line up is Sonia, Maz and Prince Albert with vocals,
trumpet, two saxophones, bass guitar, keyboards and drums.
So if you’re a "soul man" or a "natural
woman", we will play you "sweet soul music" to help you
"make it through the night"
