Church Weddings

A church wedding is a religious ceremony in which the bride and groom have their marriage sanctified in the presence of God. However, it is most importantly a civil ceremony and must be recognised by law. Therefore a clergyman who is legally registered to perform the ceremony should carry it out; he is also there as the church's official witness.
